Ever wanted to dress up like Santa, but just don't have the extra time to spend your Saturday afternoons in the local mall? Time to steam and or febreeze your velvet and white fur costume for the Night of 1000 Santas...Cleveland Style!



Join the holiday bar crawl through the city's near West Side for a night of Christmas cheer.
The schedule (as it stands today) is as follows...

9:30 : Happy Dog (no cover for Santa suit-wearers)
10:30 : Garage Bar
11:30 : Bier Market
12:30 : Touch (no cover for Santa suit-wearers) and dancing included.

funny story...

So I went to Mentor Headlands over the weekend to enjoy the surf, sand and sun...as well as a few of my magazines and my latest read, Julie & Julia.

Anyways, as I lay there I was watching the cutest little girl and her dad dig a big hole in the sand to splash around in. I was thinking to myself "they sorta look familiar?" "But how could I know a little girl from Mentor when I live in Lakewood? Then it came to me.

Last year on my one and only visit to Mentor Headlands I photographed a little girl digging the same big hole...could it be? Out of the HUNDREDS of people at the beach this day I set up my blanket right next to the same family?

You've been punked!

Although I have BIG dreams for this blog, and would absolutely welcome ALL of these opportunities (okay Kim?), I think my April Fools prank worked, and you've all been "punked."

I received a comment earlier and didn't publish it, as I wanted to keep the fun alive all day but it best captured the spirit of the silly post.

"OK, I'm a little torn on this one. On side I'm like "holy crap! this is such exciting news." But then a small little voice comes out and reminds me that today is April Fool's day. Hmmm...everybody is capable of a simple prank I guess. But then I go back to the other side and think that there are no ends to what amazing things this author can do, so then I start to believe all this good news..... Except for the Lebron interview. Maybe I can understand Al Roker but I think interviewing Lebron would be hard to keep a secret. Regardless, I'm choosing to be happy and excited for our very own. Besides, I don't want to ruin my chances at being invited to a few Tribe games, eat at nice restaurants and see good plays. Congrats!"
